For the exhibition, L’Objet Désorienté au Maroc (The Dis-Oriented Object in Morocco), I created “Ifriz” a geometric frieze of conical, black ceramics that extends throughout the entire exhibition. The form was studied from tagine dishes, babouches, breadbaskets… it repeats itself until it obtains this abstraction that I am looking for.
