“Zahra” is a looped animated film whose a musical background is made up of atmospheric and hypnotic music. At the center of a white, luminous circle, seventy-seven flowers appear in succession. These seventy-seven flowers, which do not exist in nature, were first imagined in drawings by the artist, here working in color for the first time. Some of the flowers are vertical while others are horizontal. Each is unique and takes root at the center of the same red dot that palpitates and remains as the only visible element at the video’s end. The flowers are composed of many and differently colored translucent forms delicately superimposed one after another with an infinity of colored nuances.
