The artwork Temmoun constitutes Younes Rahmoun’s first outdoor intervention, which he executed in his grandparents’ village, located in Morocco’s Rif Mountains. Comprised of 25 hay bales whose 1322 stones, used to dry the hay, were painted white by the artist. The artwork formed a kind of white ribbon rippling across the landscape. The stones’ coloring was made using lime, whose dull white, very common in this region, contrasted with the hay.
